Lean On Me…

February 11, 2008

Maybe you remember that song – “Lean on Me when you’re not strong; I’ll be a friend to help you carry on…” The photo I posted today is a great visual of why we do what we do. It’s a photo of an adult who took the time to wrap her arm around one of our little girls and showed her she is loved and cared for. In return the adult in this photo also got a warm arm around her to “help her carry on.” Even though the faces are not visible, (I do know who these 2 people are) the picture is worth a thousand words and says volumes. It speaks “straight to my heart”! How about you? Have you wrapped your arm around someone recently and showed them how much you care?
