Filling up and overflowing…

February 6, 2009

Now that may seem like a strange title for a blog post but it really says what’s happening here at the Ark in Kiev. What do I mean? Simply this – we added 10 new children in the past month and there are more on the way, as soon as our chickenpox quarantine ends. That’s the filling up part. Overflowing, according to Webster’s Dictionary, as a transitive verb means – “to cover with.” I said overflowing because that best describes what we do here. We “cover with” love the children who come to live at the Ark for a season in their lives. For some it’s the first time they have really truly experienced love. The love that God so richly showers on us we share generously with the children. I believe we are called to love, for love heals. What a better place the world would be if people would love and not hate. Love and not condemn. Love is the Way of life. Love, love, love – so really why not declare a love war?!

We have more kids too. I am afraid it’s due to the economic crisis.

We need to cover them with love and prayer too!

I am praying for you all!

Hi, I found the organisation at one of the Australian magazine “Yen” and found toaccess the site from there. I want to know about Ukraine children. Is there any support ways from Australia ? If you dont mind, I would like to add this blog and the site. and Hopefully, I can help those children as soon as possible.
Please also check my blog that I am very keen to support Russia, or around Russian countries. I am just a student but want to know how I can help people.
