Florida forever family…

April 22, 2011

Once upon a time there were 3 children praying and hoping for a family. They hoped for what seemed beyond all hope! Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and months turned into years. Nevertheless, they did not quit (nor did we) praying and believing that really one day God would send them the parents and family He wanted for them. Yesterday they left Ukraine headed for Florida where they are part of a wonderful family! Now they have 2 more brothers and 1 more sister! Yep, 6 in the nest as the parents have so aptly named them. It’s a marvelous story of God’s unfailing love and mercy!

We at Father’s Care/Ark are extremely excited and happy for these 3 kids! However, there are many more who are still praying and hoping but for these 3 we can say they are finally home! Hallelujah! Thank you Lord!!!

What a privilege to have watched these children grow over the years and now to know their prayers for a family have been answered! “The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness. The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him.” (Lamentations 3:22-23, 25)

Thank you, Barbara, Jane, all the other Ark staff, and the new family for being servants of the Most High.

    Hello from Mozambique!
I work at a large children’s center (about 250 kids) and live in a dorm with 27 boys, 4-8 years old. Mozambique is closed to international adoption (in most cases) so I am loving reading about your kids finding their forever families, although I know there are many more. Bless you in the work you are doing!
Oh, i found you thru Missionary Blogs .com. I am likely coming to Kyiv in August for two weeks for classes and thought it would be fun to check out blogs from Ukraine!
    Blessings, Laura
