When it rains/snows it pours…inside

June 29, 2011

The roof on the school building is in CRITICAL condition! It will not withstand another autumn or winter. Right now we have somewhere around 15-20 various containers set up to catch the water. What can I do you might ask. Good question! We are trying to raise $24,000 by 16 July to replace the roof. It’s about a 2 month project and our rainy season begins here in September so if we don’t get started by mid-July we’ll miss the boat. Or in this case we might need a boat.

Hi Jane, I was very moved by Rorie’s stories of her recent visit there and had to donate something. What beautiful children of God! Praying for you and that the roof will be fixed…totally understand the importance since we live in a hurricane state!
